Today on Google’s home page is a Doodle, a special Google logo, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the World Wide Web. You have a pixelated Google logo with an old fashion desktop computer from 30 years ago as the Doodle.
The Doodle is animated and shows a slow internet connection loading a GIF of a globe on the screen.
Google posted this on their webmaster channel:

30 years ago today, @timberners_lee changed the way we access information and connect with other people! You want to know where it all started? Head over to @CERN and see it for yourself on the first page on the internet! #Web30 #ForTheWebhttps://t.co/ADtTGykjyD pic.twitter.com/aJogkQSl0U

Gary Illyes from Google said he wrote it and it was “the least tongue-in-cheek tweet I’ve ever composed in my while life.”
Here is the theme on this site for the special day:

Bing, Baidu and others do not have special themes or logos for WWW.
Where were you 30 years ago today? I was 8 years old.
