It’s Google’s 19th Birthday, But Google.com Was Registered Over 20 Years Ago

It might be Google’s 19th birthday today but did you know that Google.com was registered over 20 years ago? It was registered on Monday, September 15, 1997, which was 20 years and 12 days ago. That is a while year and 12 days after the official birthday day of September 27, 1998.
There has been some debate, even internally at Google, on when their official birthday is but they ended settling on today, September 27th.
In terms of them registered the domain over 20 years ago? I guess they liked the name and it wasn’t the date they officially became a business?

Google Polski Fiat Car Inside Near Tom Hanks

This is an interesting one at some Google event, Google has placed a Polski Fiat automobile indoors, behind a backdrop that has a life size photo of Tom Hanks. This was at a Google workshop at Warsaw Financial Center in Poland.
I don’t get the Tom Hanks part, but hey.

Google Birthday Surprise Spinner For Google’s 19th Birthday Tomorrow

Google turns 19 years old tomorrow, the last year of its teenage years and to celebrate, Google has a special Google birthday surprise spinner. It lets you 19 different surprises based on what you spin on, including a new snake game, access to several older Doodle games like the cricket game, street views under water, breathing exercise and many more.
To try it yourself, try it on google.co.nz now and as the clock strikes midnight in your region, it will show up on Google’s home page.

Google Fidget Spinner

Google has an interactive virtual fidget spinner in search but did you know they also have real physical tangible fidget spinners with their logo on them? Michael O’Neill posted a video of one in action on Instagram.
